OVERTHINKING – A REAL LIFE GUIDE TO PEACEFUL MIND

GREETING & INTENTION

Overthinking is one of the biggest problems in today’s world. First of all, greetings to all of you and lots of love. Many of you read my blog completely, some read half, and some just leave after seeing it. But this does not affect me. What matters more to me is reducing your problems. I may not be able to remove them completely from the root, but I will definitely try to reduce them—as a friend, as a companion. Look, in today’s time almost every person is troubled by overthinking.

---

WHAT IS OVERTHINKING

What actually happens is that even a small thing in our mind becomes very big. We start feeling like we are trapped, like we are locked in a cage. But when does a small thing become big? It becomes big when you start thinking about it continuously without taking any break. That means thinking about the same thing again and again. Thinking beyond limits, thinking so much that you don’t even have a solution left, and even if you had one, you probably forgot it because of overthinking.

---

MAIN QUESTION

So today’s question is—can this be reduced? Can this be removed? Is there any way, any solution through which overthinking can at least be reduced? So yes, absolutely there is. But remember one thing—overthinking will only end or reduce when you take action. Because the biggest enemy of overthinking is action. If you are stuck in something, then try to do it practically. Whatever the result may be, but remember every result depends on your effort. If you do good, you get good. If you do bad, you get bad. Results always come—if not today, then tomorrow.

---

REASON 1 – PAST

Why does overthinking happen? First understand this. Maybe in the past we made some mistakes and we regret them. It is good to feel regret, it means you are aware. But there is no need to use your mind so much on something that is already gone, because it will never come back.

---

REASON 2 – FUTURE FEAR

The second type of overthinking is about the future. What will I do in the future? Which field should I choose? What is right for me? What is not? How will I build my future? All these thoughts increase overthinking. So according to me, instead of thinking about the past or future, it is better to focus on what is happening in the present.

---

REASON 3 – PEOPLE

The third type of overthinking is thinking again and again about others, especially someone close to your heart. Thinking about someone you love is good, but if you think continuously, you will make yourself mentally disturbed. Remember, before others, keep yourself first. Self-respect is the highest duty.

---

REASON 4 – SELF DOUBT

The fourth type of overthinking is lack of self-belief. I don’t understand why you doubt yourself. What is the reason that makes you think you cannot do something? Find that reason and try to solve it. It may not happen today, not tomorrow, maybe not even the day after—but one day it will definitely happen. Nothing happens in one day, but one day everything happens.

---

SELF EXISTENCE

If you think you are imaginary, then everything in this world should feel imaginary to you. But everything is real, everything is alive, you can feel it. So remember—you are also real. You also exist. You also matter just as much as others in this world.

---

SELF PREPARATION

Before building relationships or depending on someone, prepare yourself. Make yourself so strong that even if someone tries to break you, they cannot. And even if they do, you should be strong enough to stand again on your own feet. The world’s job is to push you down, but your job is to keep moving forward.

---

ACTION VS OVERTHINKING

Overthinking reduces only when you take action. How long will you just think? When will you start doing? If a thought comes into your mind, it means you are capable of doing it. Overthinking is not reality—it is imagination.

---

SOLUTION 1 – STOP YOUR MIND

The first solution is when your mind thinks too much, tell it—“Bas, ab aur nahi.” It is simple but powerful. Tell your mind to stop.

---

SOLUTION 2 – WRITE YOUR THOUGHTS

Whatever you are thinking, write it down. In a notebook, diary, or phone—anywhere. Writing brings clarity. Keeping thoughts in mind creates overthinking, but writing turns it into action. Write for at least 5 minutes, and your stress will reduce by 50%.

---

SOLUTION 3 – TAKE ACTION

Take action, don’t just think. Overthinking increases when we don’t act. If you want to start something, start it. Don’t wait for the perfect day or time. If you want to call someone, just call. Action is the biggest enemy of overthinking.

---

SOLUTION 4 –  LIVE IN PRESENT

Live in the present. Forget the past—it will never come back. Don’t worry about the future—you don’t know what will happen. Focus on what is happening now. Live the present moment happily.

---

SOLUTION 5 – TALK TO YOURSELF

Stand in front of a mirror and ask yourself—can I do it or not? Keep asking until you get the answer. Then use that answer as your weapon. Say to yourself—I can do it, I am capable, I deserve love, I deserve success.

---

SOLUTION 6 – INNER PEACE

The most powerful thing is not outer calmness but inner peace. Do meditation, listen to music, spend time alone, learn new skills. These are not luxuries, they are necessities.

---

FINAL TRUTH

The biggest truth is that overthinking is not your problem. Your problem is lack of control over yourself. The day you control your thoughts, that day you will achieve a peaceful mind.

---

STORY – TREE LESSON

A teacher asked a student to remove small plants, then bigger ones, then a branch, and finally a tree. The student could not remove the tree. The teacher explained that small problems can be removed easily, but if ignored, they grow into something big. Overthinking is the same. If it becomes a tree, you cannot remove it instantly, but you can cut it slowly.

---

FINAL MESSAGE

Thank you so much for reading till here. Lots of love to all of you. Remember—you can achieve everything you think of. Overthinking is not reality, action is reality.
