21 Years of Age and Countless Questions
Hello guys, how are you all?
I hope you are doing very well.
According to me, you should be well — because in today’s time, happiness does not come naturally; we have to choose to be happy. Not for anyone else, but first of all for ourselves.
Today we are going to talk about this topic —
what should we do after the age of 21,
or when we have reached it,
or when we are about to reach it.
Although this blog is for people of all ages,
this age is such that it is neither completely childhood nor completely adulthood.
Meaning — we have not become children,
we have not become adults either.
There are only questions at this age.
“Who am I? What do I want to do?”
Questions keep coming: Who am I?
What do I want to do?
Why are there so many confusions in my path?
Will I get what I want to do?
Will I be able to do it?
Should I do it?
Is it right for me?
Before getting answers to all these questions,
the first thing that comes to your mind is: What? Why? When? Where? For what? For whom?
When these question marks (?) enter our life,
we first forget ourselves.
“What does it mean to forget yourself?”
What does forgetting yourself mean?
And what does getting lost inside yourself mean?
Forgetting is not a disease everyone has.
But some people forget intentionally.
Forgetting on purpose, or choosing not to remember —
this is also a problem in an ordinary person’s life.
Saying “yes” to everything is one problem,
but forgetting yourself deliberately is another.
“The person who is lost… is you.”
The person who is lost somewhere is no one else —
it is you.
You means me.
The day you understand this —
that in this entire world, there is no one like me,
what I can do, no one else can do —
Understand that day that
you have won the World Cup of your life.
“Just like rain during drought.”
Think of it this way:
When there is a drought and we hope for rain, we become very restless.
But there is still hope — maybe it will rain.
But if we expect rain during the rainy season,
will it not rain?
It will rain anyway.
Exactly like that is our life.
There is no drought of opportunities.
There is a drought within us.
“Ask yourself first.”
First ask yourself: Who are you?
Why are you here?
For what are you here?
What do you want to do?
This is a very big thing.
And once you know what you want to do,
focus completely on that.
“Do you really know what you want?”
Do you only want to scroll social media?
Do you only want to listen to motivational talks?
Do you only want to focus on motivation?
Or do you really know what you want to do?
The day you understand this “you” —
understand that you have stepped onto the path of your destination.
“Recognize yourself.”
Recognize yourself.
Know yourself.
Find yourself within yourself.
The answers to all these questions
are only with you, not with anyone else.
Because you have forgotten yourself.
And the one who has forgotten himself —
how will he move forward in life?
“Temporary motivation is useless."
To move forward, such a person needs motivation.
And to get that motivation, he opens the internet,
reels, videos, people, topics, other individuals.
But what will you do with motivation
that you forget after two minutes?
Giving motivation to others is very easy.
But applying motivation on yourself —
that is difficult.
I said maybe difficult —
because the day you understand this “maybe”,
you might understand yourself.
“I want to work, but I can’t.”
I want to work, but I cannot.
I don’t want to sit idle, but I am sitting.
I want to do something for my parents,
for my family — but I cannot.
I want to do something for my future,
but I see no path.
I want to live for my love,
but I am not able to live.
Every time I start something, it gets stuck.
Sometimes situations stop me,
sometimes I break myself.
“Maybe understanding yourself is enough.”
Maybe at this age,
achieving everything is not important.
Maybe understanding yourself
is enough.
Maybe the path is not clear yet
where you want to walk.
And remember —
stopping is also sometimes good for health.
If we walk too fast, we lose breath.
If we stop completely, we may miss the destination.
“Everyone has their own time.”
Every person has their own time.
It depends on whether they are doing the right thing
at the right time or not.
Many of us have faced situations
where we were capable,
but still could not achieve things.
That is your test.
If you don’t do it today,
how will you do it tomorrow?
“Don’t stop. Keep moving.”
Do not stop.
Keep moving forward.
Stop only when you are tired —
resting is also important for health.
Do everything that gives you peace.
Do what makes you happy.
“Live in the present.”
Forget the past.
Plan for the future.
But live in the present.
What will happen tomorrow is not in your control
and not in mine either.
Whatever is meant to happen will happen.
So change what you can today.
“Human life is rare.”
Human life is very precious.
Eating, drinking, growing, and dying —
animals do this too.
Birds do this.
Creatures do this.
What makes humans different?
Our mind.
Use it.
“Hard work never goes waste.”
Prepare today for tomorrow.
Your hard work will definitely show results one day.
I can write this confidently
because I have experienced it.
Things came late — but they came.
If they didn’t come, that’s okay.
If they came, that’s also okay.
Maybe something else is waiting for me.
“What should I do at this age?”
I don’t need to overthink what I didn’t get.
I need to think about
what I should do at this age.
For myself.
For my family.
For my loved ones.
For my friends.
And most importantly —
for my country.
The one who does something for the country,
is truly successful.
“One last thing to remember.”
Remember this always:
What a human can do,
even God cannot do that.
Thank you so much
for reading till the end 🤍
