The Story of Becoming Friends with Yourself
Hello guys, how are you all?
I hope you are doing very well, feeling happy, energetic, and healthy.
So today, our title is “The Story of Becoming Friends with Yourself.”
You and I have heard many stories in life, but how do we write our own story?
How do we know ourselves?
How do we recognize ourselves?
How do we understand who we truly are?
Today, we will talk about this very topic.
---
This Is Not Motivation, This Is a Blessing
Today I will not give you motivation.
Today, I will give you a blessing, a life-giving remedy (Sanjeevani).
And do you know what that blessing is?
That blessing is YOU.
Whenever this question comes into your mind — “Who am I?”
Remember:
I am not just a name.
I am not just a person.
I am not just an identity given by the world.
I am myself.
And no one else can be me.
There is only one “me” in this world, and that is enough.
---
The Two Sides of the Same Life
Friendship with yourself.
Betrayal of yourself.
Love for yourself.
Jealousy towards yourself.
Understanding yourself.
Breaking yourself.
Not understanding yourself.
Losing trust in yourself.
These are all parts of every human life.
But now understand something very important:
Take all the lines above and reverse them.
The day these negative words disappear from your life,
that day you have written your own story,
that day you have truly become friends with yourself.
---
Who Has All the Answers?
You ask questions like:
Why am I special?
What is there inside me that even I don’t understand?
How should I become friends with myself?
How should I lose myself within myself?
How should I understand myself?
The answer to all these questions lies with one person only.
That person is you.
You — yourself.
---
Learning to Be Your Own Companion
Become friends with yourself.
Love yourself.
Accept yourself.
Become your own companion.
Learn how to keep yourself happy.
Learn to understand yourself with kindness.
Lose yourself within your own truth.
Know yourself.
Recognize yourself.
Disappear into your own depth.
This is the true story of friendship.
And one day, this true friendship will make you hear the voice of your soul.
---
Why Do We Forget Our Own Strength?
You will realize:
How important you are for yourself
How strongly you stand for yourself
How much you want to do for yourself but cannot
And why can’t you do it?
Because you don’t fully understand yourself.
The day you understand yourself,
that day you find your true “I”.
---
You Are Not Incomplete
Hating yourself,
being jealous of yourself —
these are natural human emotions.
But turning these emotions into a lifelong identity is wrong.
Why do that when you can:
Know yourself
Understand yourself
Test your strength
And most importantly, keep yourself happy
You already do so much for yourself every day.
You work.
You take responsibility.
You try to grow your income.
You take care of your body.
You eat with your own hands.
You drink water with your own hands.
You live your life with your own efforts.
So how can you say you are incomplete?
You have no right to call yourself worthless.
---
Why trust others more than yourself?
Why try to please everyone?
Why sacrifice your happiness again and again?
Why break yourself every time?
You are not glass.
Glass can be fixed, but a human broken from inside is much harder to heal.
You show humanity to everyone else —
why not to yourself?
---
Ask yourself:
What can I not do?
What is impossible for me?
What don’t I know?
When you read, write, work, walk, learn, and live by yourself —
why neglect yourself?
The day you find answers to these “why” questions,
that day you have found yourself.
So remember this:
Even if you are not honest with the world,
always be honest with yourself.
This is my warning to you.
You were special.
You are special.
And you will always remain special.
---
Learn to do things for yourself.
Learn to keep yourself happy.
Learn how to live for yourself.
Learn how to trust yourself instead of depending on others.
You don’t need to please everyone.
You don’t need to compare yourself with anyone.
The day you change yourself,
you gain everything.
Ask yourself questions.
You will find answers.
Search yourself.
You will find your path.
One day, you will definitely find your purpose.

(My Experience)
There was a time when I considered myself insignificant —
worthless, broken, and useless.
I believed no one cared about me.
No one liked me.
No one noticed my work.
No one cared about what I wanted.
Then I realized something very important:
No one else will listen, act, or understand for me —
I have to do it myself.
As age increases, life teaches you that friendship was never meant to be with others first —
it was meant to be with yourself.
Today, I trust myself enough to stand on my own.
I don’t care what others are doing.
I care about what I am doing.
I know my goals.
I know my future matters to me.
And knowing myself is the biggest achievement of my life.
This story of friendship started in pain,
but it ended in peace.
Life will always have ups and downs,
but that does not mean I will mortgage myself,
compare myself,
or declare myself worthless.
That would be the biggest betrayal — to myself.

The Final Truth
The one who finds himself, finds everything.
The one who loses himself within himself, merges with the universe.
When I removed the curtain,
I found a mirror.
And the person standing there…
was me.
Now ask yourself:
What is that curtain in your life you need to remove?
---
Thank you for reading till the end.
If any of my words hurt you, I am truly sorry.
But if even one word brings change in your life,
I will consider myself blessed.
Thank you so much.
With love and heartfelt blessings. 🤍
